Rock Your Socks

The UN has proclaimed March 21st as World Down Syndrome Day. The purpose of the day is to raise public awareness of the syndrome.

In Sweden and several other countries, World Down Syndrome Day is commemorated by "Rocking socks" (Rocka sockorna). By wearing mismatched socks on March 21st, you participate in the celebration of the day and show that you stand up for the equal value and rights of all people.
